For your comfort and protection we are asking you to observe the following basic safety guidelines, which should be adhered too at all times.

**Contractors, Hauliers & Visitors must:**
	Park in a designated parking area, not obstructing emergency exits, access routes, gangways, fire hydrants or other vehicles. Observe the on-site speed limit.
	The wearing of hi-visibility clothing is mandatory throughout the site, including the yard areas. Stay with your vehicle at all times; do not wander about the yards. Availability: Security / Reception.
	Be accompanied at all times on the shop floor by a member of staff or management. Stay with your host at all times, keep between the yellow floor markings. Do not enter restricted areas or workstations unless accompanied and authorised.
	The wearing of eye protection is mandatory when entering workshops, Assembly & Fabrication warehouses including the Machine Shops. Availability: Reception.
	Exposure to high noise levels can cause hearing damage, therefore the wearing of ear protection is mandatory in all work areas including Stores / Spares. Availability: Reception.
	The wearing of safety footwear is mandatory for all Contractors working on-site. Visitors may wear personal footwear provided they remain within the aisles and gangways are do not stray outside these areas.
	Stay alert and be aware of traffic movements. Only authorised, trained persons may operate forklift trucks or mobile work equipment on this site.
	Be aware of general hazards i.e. grinding sparks, trailing leads & material movements. Do not look at the intense light emitted from welding and cutting processes as it could cause an eye injury.
	Observe and adhere to the information on safety signs and notices. 'No Smoking' restrictions apply to the areas around the paint shops, gas and flammable storage areas.
	Report all accidents, injuries and dangerous occurrences to your host or a member of staff.
	In the event of a fire or other emergency be accompanied by your host to a place of safety. Your Assembly Point is beside the security Hut and is Visitors - Fire Point.
